Applicability of GDPR Article 27 (EU representative)
Asterisk is established outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Asterisk has assessed its processing activities in relation to Article 27 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and relies on the exemption set out in Article 27(2)(a), on the following basis:
- Processing is occasional. This website is an informational overview. Asterisk does not operate an online shop, does not process payments, does not maintain user accounts, and does not carry out marketing communications initiated by Asterisk. Personal data is processed only when a visitor voluntarily loads the site or emails support@kartxyz.com — an occasional, low-volume activity.
- Processing does not include special categories of personal data on a large scale. Asterisk does not collect data concerning health, sex life, sexual orientation, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data (Article 9 GDPR), nor data relating to criminal convictions or offences (Article 10 GDPR).
